Lucy Solie-Vilker’s Entrepreneur Of The Year® Finalist Nomination

Celebrating Lucy Solie-Vilker’s Entrepreneur Of The Year® Finalist Nomination

Donor Nexus is proud to celebrate Lucy Solie-Vilker, Co-Owner and CEO, for being a finalist for the Entrepreneur Of The Year® 2026 Pacific Southwest Award. Although she didn’t take home the regional honor, the nomination itself is a meaningful recognition of the leadership, vision, and impact that have helped shape Donor Nexus into one of the most trusted names in egg and embryo donation.

In a field that included 44 finalists from 40 companies across the region, simply being named to that group was an achievement. It was even more notable because of the billion dollar valuations and success of many of the businesses represented.

The Entrepreneur Of The Year® program honors leaders selected for entrepreneurial spirit, purpose, company growth, and lasting impact.

In the Pacific Southwest region, finalists were chosen by an independent panel of judges from across Southern California, Arizona, and Nevada.

Lucy’s recognition is closely tied to what Donor Nexus has built over the past 14 years: a modern fertility platform designed to bring structure, transparency, and clinical expertise to one of the most important decisions a family can make. Under Lucy’s leadership, the company has expanded access to family-building through three core pathways under one roof: fresh donor matching, a frozen egg bank, and embryo donation.

Today, Donor Nexus offers intended parents hundreds of donor options, multiple treatment paths, and a process built for flexibility and speed. The company operates an FDA-registered egg bank and holds a California Tissue Bank license, combining agency support with clinical depth that many programs cannot match. Since 2012, its work has contributed to more than 2,000 babies born to Donor Nexus families, a milestone that speaks to both scale and trust.

What makes this finalist recognition especially worth celebrating is what it represents: Donor Nexus was created to give families real choices and a more accessible path forward. Its approach emphasizes transparency, strong donor support, and practical execution in a category where trust and reliability matter deeply. Lucy’s nomination shines a light on a business that has grown by meeting people at pivotal moments in their lives and helping them move forward with confidence.

Winning is only one measure of success. Being recognized as an Entrepreneur Of The Year® finalist placed Lucy Solie-Vilker and Donor Nexus alongside some of the most ambitious and successful business leaders in the region, including executives leading companies operating at a massive scale. She also stood out as the only woman finalist in Southern California.

“It was, in every sense, an honor to be nominated and to stand alongside businesses with extraordinary reach, momentum, and market presence,” she says. “And it’s our mission of helping families build the family they’ve always wanted that makes this so meaningful to me."

"This recognition belongs to the families Donor Nexus serves, the donors who make these journeys possible, and for the team behind the work every day.”
